These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights. We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above). You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.

1. Price Information
The prices shown for each product(s) are clearly listed as ‘web price’. The ‘web price’ is applicable to purchases made via this website. Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at time of display online and include V.A.T. where appropriate. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed. AUTONEEDS VAT number is shown above
Multi-Save Offers and other special offers
Products may be included in special multi-save offers or be eligible for other promotional discount offers. Details of these offers are clearly advertised on the website, however the final discounted price(s) will not (cannot), be calculated until the checkout stage of the purchase.
1(a). VAT Information Although all the prices include V.A.T. (charge at current appropriate rate), a breakdown of the V.A.T. content will not be given at the point of ordering. A fully itemised receipt with full V.A.T. details will be sent to you directly.
2. Ordering Goods
To buy products from our online store you will need to register with the site (new customers) or log in to the site (existing customers who have already registered). You will be prompted to do this. Alternatively you may use the “log in” button at the top right of the page. To order goods from the online store simply click the "buy now" button next to the item of your choice. After making your selections enter checkout process using the "Go to Checkout" button displayed beneath your order details. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the checkout pages. During the checkout process you will be prompted to confirm delivery details and acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Finally you will be asked for details of the credit/debit/charge card you wish to use. At any point you can return to a previous screen to make amendments. After entering your credit/debit/charge card details you will have a final chance to check all the details of your order. Selecting "Place your Order" will generate and transmit your order. Autoneeds will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the address you supplied when registering with our website, however this will not bring into existence a legally binding agreement between us. No contract will exist between you and Autoneeds for the sale of products by us to you until such confirmation has been sent to you using the address you supplied when registering with our website. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. All orders placed with Autoneeds are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in section 4 below. Also please refer to section 1 above regarding incorrect prices. In the rare event of your credit/debit/charge card being charged for an order that cannot be fulfilled (for reasons stated above), no contract will exist between you and Autoneeds and your credit/debit/charge card will be refunded immediately.
Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. Details of your order will be retained by Autoneeds in our database and these details can be made available on request. Please email us at sales@autoneeds.co.uk
3. Payment
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards via paypal. Payment will be debited to your account before the despatch of your purchase.
4. Validation Checks
All credit/debit/charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit/debit/charge cards, Autoneeds will validate the names and addresses supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to dispatch your order.
5. Liability
The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit/debit/charge cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.
6. Delivery of Goods
We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom although for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands etc. there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead time. This charge will not be shown during the checkout process, and may not be clear until Autoneeds come to process your order. This is because of the changing agreements to and between different delivery companies. In the event of an increased delivery charge, Autoneeds will communicate with you using the address you supplied when registering with our website, informing you of the increased charge, and offering you the chance to cancel the order (for a full refund), or pay the increased delivery charge.
Goods will only be delivered to the address at which your card is registered.
Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by a private courier. A signature is required for all deliveries.
7. Delivery Charges
If a product is available to purchase online, post and packaging may be charged in addition to the prices shown. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. The delivery charge depends on the size and weight of the product ordered. Each product fits into a size+weight category, and each delivery charge can include item(s) up to a specific size+weight. Delivery Times
When you add products to your shopping cart the appropriate delivery charge will be calculated in the most efficient way, and added automatically. All delivery charges will be shown clearly at the checkout process.
Delivery Times Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.
The ’24 Hour’ and ‘3 Day’, times refer to the expected (not guaranteed) time of delivery from when your order leaves us. In the event of ‘special’ or ‘custom’ orders, this can be longer. In these cases we will communicate with you using the email address stated in your contact details. Deliveries to non-mainland or remote locations may take longer. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.
IMPORTANT
IMPORTANT We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section. However occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
8. After-sales Service and Guarantees
Where applicable, details of manufacturer’s guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. If you would like to receive a copy of a guarantee for a particular product prior to purchase, please write to, ‘Customer Services’ at the accounts office address above.
9. Restrictions on Ordering and Delivery
We can only accept orders from holders of credit/debit/charge cards registered at UK addresses. We can deliver to most addresses in the U.K. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to non-UK destinations, including the Republic of Ireland.
10. Complaints and Queries
If you are not happy with any aspect of our online service or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order placed online, please either e-mail us at sales@autoneeds.co.uk,or telephone us on 0208 642 7727, or write to ‘Customer Services’ at the accounts office address above and we will do everything we can to help you.
11. Correctly Supplied Unwanted Goods
Subject to the IMPORTANT note (11a) below, if you decide that you do not want any item which we have delivered then, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase) within 28 days of delivery, we will offer you a credit note redeemable against future purchase(s) for the full purchase value less any delivery charges. The credit note must be fully redeemed within 6 months from the date of issue and used by contacting our mail order department directly on 0208 642 7727. This is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. If you post the item to us, or we collect it, we will endeavour to issue you with a credit note within 14 days.
IMPORTANT (11a)
We will not accept a return or cancellation of order in any circumstances where the following conditions apply;
1. You have no proof of purchase for the item(s) in question 2. The seal has been broken on any software including games and/or DVD’s and/or Video tapes. 3. There is a contract for services with the product, and you have started using the services. e.g. A mobile phone subscription, satellite navigation subscription, etc. 4. The goods were specially ordered by us or manufactured to your specification
12. Faulty Goods
Some products of a technical nature will be required to be sent for testing before a return will be considered. Examples of these are, audio equipment (including speakers), alloy wheels, alarms, exhaust systems, component parts, (this list is not exhaustive). We will endeavour to return the product (or replacement) to you within 14 working days of receipt of goods. Products that are found to have a manufacturing fault will be subject to a free repair or replacement or refund at our discretion. Products that are found not to have a manufacturing fault or have evidence of customer misuse will only be repaired at the customer’s cost. In addition a charge for the inspection may be levied. Please check correct fitment of wheels on car before fitting tyres, as wheels that have had tyres fitted will not be accepted for return under any circumstances.
13. Colour Reproduction
Reproduction of colour online is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow.
14. Safe Shopping Guarantee
We have used every effort to ensure that shopping on the Internet with autoneeds is as safe as purchasing by card in our high street store. The secure server that we use encrypts all of your personal information sent over the Internet. In processing your order, your information may have to be sent over the Internet more than once. At no point is your order information sent in this way without encryption.
